Hello everybody. My name is Armand, I am 20 years old, and I love cars. I never had a choice in the matter: from a young age I have been drawn to the melding of man and machine in the automotive form. Like many of you, to be sure, I spent many hours as a wee lad designing wild cars. And now today, I am working hard to make my dream of designing cars professionally a reality.
However, I am not some straight laced student who keeps their head down and their nose in buried in the books. I'm a reckless son of a bitch. I am a RoadHead. Starting today, I will be infusing Oppositelock and hopefully Jalopnik with a variety of off-the-wall and entertaining articles. Ranging from topics such as how to build convert a 50 year old car into a hybrid, how to crash said hybrid, how to sneak into Concours D' Elegance, how to educate Matt Farah, and how to convince Hagerty to give you bidders passes to the most prestigious car auctions in the world.
A little bit about myself: I have two cars, my runabout, which is 1995 BMW 525i, and my baby, a 1968 Mercury Cougar with custom gadgets up the wazoo.
My Cougar is my pride and joy, a product of a lot of blood and sweat shared between me and my father in that best of American traditions. Currently I am building it into the ultimate police pursuit evasion vehicle. More on that to come. Currently I am in sunny (not!) Seattle visiting a friend but can usually be found on the highways and byways of California. As a hobby I work in the film and television industry, including a certain upcoming superhero film from DC. Yeah, that one. Anyway, I bring with me much filmmaking experience and I intend to inject our lovely little sub log with high quality videos of the educational variety.
So that's me. Stay tuned for tomorrow's post, where I will discuss how I snuck into RM Auctions yesterday, fondled a Tucker, was served Caviar for whatever reason, and bumped into TheSmokingTire. Have a nice Friday Opponauts! The best is yet to come!

I am a RoadHead
What does this mean? I don't think you are using this in the common fashion.

Hmmm, so....maybe you already know this, but the term "Road Head" has a meaning other than how you seem to be using it......

You should pick something less conspicuous... and with faster acceleration... and easier to hide... What I'm saying is you should pick a liter-class supersport motorcycle.

A bike is seriously lacking in its ability to ram barricades and enemies.

A bike can shoot the gaps in barricades and outmaneuver enemies.
If you're wanting to do ramming a Cougar still isn't great - it's too light and sporty. You'd need a big heavy tank like an Imperial or a Country Squire wagon or a GM B-body or a Panther platform.
